This dress was created from a quilt top my aunt from Oklahoma sent to me.
I love working with quilt tops and blocks that were started and never made into quilts. I would like to think the creators of the lovely embroidery would be excited to see the pieces, from decades ago, walk out of linen closets and on to our contemporary urban streets!
The materials used to create this dress are circa. 1930 quilt top, origin Oklahoma, vintage lace and muslin.
